Our first day of camp 2013!

Camp was awesome today! The campers came ready to learn and have fun! Ms. Debbie taught all about the beat using scarves and whacky wackers. Counting was key today as the campers explored numbers using addition, multiplication & more! We practiced counting the beats of quarter notes, half notes and whole notes and enjoyed learning about the instrument families in the orchestra. Today our "Mystery Musician" was Adrian Carter and he shared his instrument THE TROMBONE. The kids enjoyed listening to the trombone slide as it played sounds. Adrian even let each child pull the slide to make cool sounds! Thanks Adrian! YOU Rock! A day full of excitement!
