Hello moms and dads, we are rounding down our second week of camp. In math, we continued to explore the concept of numbers. We implemented different games i.e. number sequencing games and matching in order to illustrate the importance of numbers. Switching over to music, we had some great guest performers. We had a wonderful percussion, trumpet, and string trio come and visit us  from the Atlanta symphony orchestra as well as a  local, talented trumpet player. We used our knowledge of rhythms, musical terms, and musical concepts to challenge our thinking. It is evident that we are learning so much each and everyday. Thank  you for participating with us as we continue to journey through Math and Music land.
Here is a picture of a fun game we played .  Each child has a stack of randomized cards in which he or she is to come up to the board and arrange them in the proper order. This game is a math sequencing game that is used to teach ordering and math patterns.

All the kids took a picture with Mr. K , our mystery musician.
