 FUN WITH FRACTIONS EXPLORING THE PHYSICS OF SOUND!!!

Fractions & Data We will conduct LOTS of surveys this week to explore a world of fractions.  The kids will enjoy asking friends and family interesting questions and creating a variety of graphs to help them with understanding “part” to “whole.” We will also have some tasty treats.

The Physics of Sound What’s in a note?  How is sound made?  What makes this instrument sound different from the next?  Math and measurements have a lot to do with sound production and pitch.  This week we will delve into the physics of sound and discover some really cool ways to make our own music using unconventional objects and household items!
